Troy Bevill and Proforma Horizon Total Source Receive Business Ethics Award from Better Business Bureau in Tyler, TX

Troy Bevill, Owner of Proforma Horizon Total Source, was awarded the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics at the Central East Texas Better Business Bureau Torch Award ceremony at Villa Di Felicita on Tuesday, April 29. The Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics was established to recognize area businesses for demonstrating a commitment to integrity and ethical business practices. Proforma Horizon Total Source won in the ‘1-9 employees’ category.

The Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of Central East Texas and its Foundation established the BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics to recognize those firms whose business practices and related activities exemplify the BBB’s mission and principles, and to ensure that the marketplace remains fair and honorable. The BBB received 64 nominations for the 2008 Torch Awards, and only four Torch Award trophies went home with distinguished companies in four categories. The awards were judged by a volunteer panel made up of local business people.
