Proforma Honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Legacy with Annual Proform-A-Service Day
TAMPA, Fla. (Feb. 3, 2026) – Proforma, the largest family-owned and operated technology and business success leader, kicked off its annual Proform-A-Service Day initiative for 2026 on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The yearly program embodies Proforma’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
Held throughout the first quarter of the year, Proform-A-Service Day provides Support Center Team Members with a paid workday to volunteer at charitable causes and community organizations of their choice. Many team members once again elected to participate on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, honoring Dr. King’s legacy through service-driven action.
“Proform-A-Service Day has become a beloved tradition within the Proforma Family,” said Kathy Mayo, Vice President of Human Resources at Proforma. “By supporting team members to serve causes in ways that resonate personally, Proforma helps foster a culture of compassion and accountability that extends well beyond the workplace.”
So far in 2026, Support Center Team Members have engaged in a wide range of volunteer activities, including donating blood at local blood drives, participating in roadside community clean-ups, and volunteering time and care at animal rescue organizations. These efforts supported public health, environmental stewardship, and animal welfare across the communities where Proforma team members live and work.
“Proform-A-Service Day is about turning values into action,” said Kailee Albakri, Senior Business Analyst at Proforma. “This year, I chose to clean up a road in my community and collected ten pounds of trash. Having the opportunity to give back to local communities and improve them for everyone is incredibly fulfilling.”
Through Proform-A-Service Day, Proforma continues to encourage employee-driven volunteerism while reinforcing its core values of service, integrity, and community support. The initiative is designed to foster deeper connections between team members and the causes they care about, while making a tangible impact at the local level.
“Proform-A-Service Day reflects the heart of Proforma’s culture,” said Brian Roney, Chief Revenue Officer at Proforma. “When team members come together to serve, they strengthen not only their communities, but also the purpose that guides our organization every day.”
